Marketing Intern (Events)

We are looking for a motivated and organised Marketing Intern – Events to join our marketing team. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing team, internal stakeholders, external vendors, and event organisers to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, exhibitions, conferences, and other marketing activities.

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across event management, marketing communications, campaign execution, content creation, and stakeholder coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the planning and execution of events, exhibitions, conferences, roadshows, and other marketing activities.

· Assist with event logistics and coordination, including venue arrangements, booth setup, event materials, promotional items, and other operational requirements.

· Coordinate with event organisers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth event preparation and execution.

· Assist with the preparation of event-related materials, including invitations, EDMs, social media content, banners, brochures, presentations, and other marketing collaterals.

· Support event registration, attendee management, lead collection, and other on-site activities during events.

· Assist with pre-event and post-event marketing activities, including promotional campaigns, EDMs, social media posts, and follow-up communications.

· Help maintain event checklists, timelines, contact lists, marketing inventories, and other event-related documentation.

· Support the collection and organisation of event leads, feedback, photographs, and post-event reports for evaluation and future planning.

· Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and proper application of corporate guidelines across event materials and touchpoints.

· Provide general support for marketing campaigns and other initiatives as required.

· Understand how events and exhibitions are planned and integrated into broader marketing campaigns.

· Apply marketing knowledge and communication skills to support real-world events and business initiatives.

· Develop hands-on experience in event logistics, vendor coordination, content creation, and marketing communications.

· Learn how to manage event timelines, checklists, budgets, materials, and other operational requirements.

· Develop communication, coordination, project management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

· Gain exposure to B2B marketing and the laboratory, healthcare, and life science industries.

Requirements

· Currently pursuing a Diploma in Marketing, Events Management, Business, Communications, or a related field.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

· Creative, proactive, and resourceful, with a willingness to learn.

· A positive attitude and strong team player who is comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting on-site events when required.

· Experience or interest in event management, marketing, social media, content creation, and/or communications is an advantage
