Matcha Barista (Part-Time)

📍 Location: Kyo Teahouse, 18 Cross Street (Chinatown) 🕒 Employment Type: Part-Time (Rotating shifts - weekdays, weekends & public holidays) Hourly Pay: $10–$12/hour

Shifts Available:

Monday - Friday: ☑ 8:30am – 2:30pm ☑ 11:00am – 4:00pm ☑ 12:30pm – 9:30pm

Saturday & Sunday: ☑ 8:30am – 5:30pm ☑ 10:30am – 9:30pm

(You’ll need to commit at least 3-4 shifts / 25 hours per week)

KYO TEAHOUSE – A New Chapter by KYO KOHEE

Rooted in a farm-to-cup philosophy, we work closely with tea farms and makers to bring you thoughtfully sourced matcha, handcrafted teas, and tea-based desserts. As the sister brand of KYO KOHEE, KYO TEAHOUSE carries the same heart, with a gentle focus on tea and the simple comforts it brings.

As part of the new KYO's launch, we’re looking for passionate Matcha Baristas to join our founding team. You’ll play a key role in crafting our tea offerings and shaping the calm, welcoming experience we hope every guest finds at KYO.

We’re looking for a Matcha Barista who:

What You’ll Be Doing

🍵 Cashier: Create warm & positive memorable customer experiences

🍵 Cashier: Share tea knowledge and recommend thoughtfully

🍵 Daily Operations: Setup, brewing, cleaning, and restocking

🍵 Brewing: Prepare matcha-based & tea drinks and keep quality consistent

🍵 Brewing: Maintain a clean, organised tea bar

🍵 Brewing: Handle tools and equipment with care
