Job Summary • This role is responsible for leading HP's end-to-end media strategy and execution for the Korea market, serving as HP's media subject matter expert and strategic advisor for Korea. Acting as the primary media partner to Marketing stakeholders and the key point of contact for agency and platform partners, the role develops integrated media strategies, oversees campaign planning and activation, drives performance optimization, and ensures alignment to business objectives and global media frameworks. The role also provides thought leadership on the evolving Korean media landscape, identifies opportunities for innovation and growth, and drives media effectiveness through strong audience, channel, measurement, and investment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads integrated media strategies aligned to business, brand, demand generation, and commercial objectives.

• Partners with Marketing stakeholders to translate campaign goals into audience, channel, investment, and measurement strategies.

• Oversees media planning, activation, optimization, and performance management across digital and offline media channels.

• Serves as the primary point of contact for agency partners, ensuring strategic alignment, delivery excellence, and accountability against business outcomes.

• Builds and manages strategic relationships with key media platform partners including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Naver, Kakao, and other relevant local partners.

• Identifies opportunities to leverage data, audience intelligence, automation, and emerging capabilities to improve media effectiveness and marketing impact.

• Drives the evaluation and adoption of innovative media approaches, technologies, and best practices to enhance campaign performance and customer engagement.

• Monitors campaign and investment performance, translating insights and analytics into actionable recommendations and optimization plans.

• Ensures compliance with global media governance standards, measurement frameworks, procurement guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborates across local, regional, and global teams to drive business outcomes, support transformation initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of HP's Media Labs operating model. • Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise, developing strategy and setting functional policy and direction. • Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus, ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Advertising, Journalism, or any related discipline, or commensurate work experience.

• Typically has 8-12+ years of experience in media strategy, media planning, media activation, digital marketing, agency management, or related marketing disciplines.

• Experience working within the Korean media ecosystem, either agency-side, platform-side, or in-house marketing environments.

• Experience managing integrated media campaigns across search, social, programmatic, video, commerce, and emerging media channels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Korean and English with the ability to effectively engage local and regional stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of the Korean media landscape, consumer behavior, and key industry platforms including Naver and Kakao.

• Experience managing strategic relationships with media agencies and platform partners.

• Experience working in a multinational or regional marketing environment.
