Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee cleanroom MEP construction and installation activities within the assigned project area.
- Coordinate cleanroom MEP works with architectural, structural, HVAC, and process systems.
- Supervise installation of cleanroom-related MEP services, equipment interfaces, service panels, raised access flooring, and associated systems.
- Enforce cleanroom protocol, zoning, cleanliness disciplines, and contamination control across all trades during site execution.
- Review drawings,specifications, and method statements to ensure proper site execution.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, materials, workmanship, and construction progress.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and cleanroom certification activities (e.g., particle counts, airflow visualization, filter leak tests).
- Identify and resolve site coordination, interface, and constructability issues.
- Ensure completed works and penetrations are properly sealed, protected, and maintained in accordance with cleanroom standards.
- Monitor punch-list items and ensure timely rectification and close-out.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE, quality, and cleanliness requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cleanroom, MEP, EPC, or construction projects.
- Certified in MOM-accredited safety courses (e.g., BCSS / SSSC); possession of CSCPM, Work-at-Height (WAH) Supervisor, or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is preferred to communicate effectively with multinational clients and site subcontractors.
- Proven ability to oversee day-to-day site construction activities and enforce cleanroom protocol.
- Experience supervising subcontractors and site personnel.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction specifications.
- Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech facility projects is preferred.
- Good site coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
