About the role

This is a hands-on, execution-driven Merchandising Executive position within the SEA & Middle East Buying Team. The role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful execution of product launches across Singapore, Thailand, UAE, and KSA. You will work closely with Buyers, Supply Chain, Vendors, Retail, Marketing, and Training teams to ensure products are launched on time, inventory is effectively managed, and commercial objectives are met across all markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Track and manage the progress of upcoming product launches against the merchandising calendar and launch timelines
  • Monitor collection readiness and proactively identify outstanding dependencies across Supply Chain, Vendors, Marketing, Content, and Retail teams
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure all launch deliverables are completed within agreed timelines
  • Escalate potential risks, delays, and bottlenecks early to maintain launch schedules
  • Generate and distribute weekly sales and performance reports by market, category, and collection
  • Analyze key merchandising metrics including sell-through, stock levels, inventory coverage, and product performance
  • Identify best-selling products, slow-moving inventory, and stock risks, providing actionable insights to the buying team
  • Maintain and update the assortment master database, ensuring accuracy of SKU information, product attributes, pricing, launch status, and sales data
  • Maintain and manage the regional launch calendar to ensure collections are launched according to plan across all markets
  • Support the buying team in order management and vendor coordination activities

About you

  • 1–3 years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Category Management, Merchandise Planning, Buying Operations, or related retail functions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and large dataset management
  • Understanding of key retail metrics such as Sell-Through, Stock Cover, Gross Margin, Inventory Turnover, and Average Selling Price (ASP)
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and follow-up capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within eyewear, fashion, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, or specialty retail categories is preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, merchandising platforms, or retail planning tools is advantageous
