Job scopes

  • Lead enterprise model risk compliance and governance activities in alignment with regulatory standards and bank policies.
  • Interpret regulatory guidance and translate it into practical model governance controls and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulations, frameworks, and standards (e.g., model risk management principles, AI governance guidelines).
  • Manage the end-to-end model lifecycle, including identification, development, validation, approval, monitoring, and retirement.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and accurate model inventory and model risk documentation for audit and regulatory readiness.
  • Ensure documentation reflects current regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations on model compliance status for model owners, senior management, and auditors.
  • Communicate risks, issues, and remediation plans effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate remediation efforts and training programs to address regulatory or audit findings.
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to ensure models meet governance, validation, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate model development, deployment, and monitoring activities, managing dependencies and delivery milestones across the AI/ML lifecycle.
  • Support the establishment and enhancement of model governance frameworks for both ML and GenAI initiatives.
  • Ensure responsible and auditable AI adoption across the organization.
  • Work closely with technical teams to manage model risk associated with ML and GenAI models, including transparency, explainability, and monitoring.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance compliance, regulatory roles, model risk management, or related fields within the banking industry.
  • Experience working with bank policies, controls, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with machine learning models and GenAI models.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Engineering, Risk, Compliance).
  • Certifications such as:PMP (Project Management Professional)FRM (Financial Risk Manager)PRM (Professional Risk Manager)CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)NIST AI RMF Practitioner or similar AI governance credentials
  • Exposure to model validation, model monitoring, or AI governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of regulatory expectations for model risk (e.g., banking supervisory guidelines, AI risk frameworks).
