Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN, and connectivity issues
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and network security incidents
- Handle escalations from NOC and escalate complex issues to L3 or vendors
- Perform approved configuration changes on routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN devices
- Support VLAN, routing, ACL, NAT, firewall policy, and VPN changes
- Monitor network devices using tools such as NetGain
- Respond to alerts related to availability, utilization, latency, packet loss, CPU, memory, and link status
- Assist with SNMP, Syslog, and device onboarding into monitoring platforms
- Support planned maintenance, migrations, cutovers, and post-change validation
- Maintain network documentation, incident notes, change records, and handover documents
Experience & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of network engineering or network operations experience
- Experience in managed services, NOC, or enterprise support environments preferred
