Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing operations, including equipment, tooling, and process checks to ensure smooth production.
  • Assist with engineering builds, product trials, NPI, product transfers, and implementation of engineering changes.
  • Collect and analyse production data, while preparing and maintaining work instructions, process records, checklists, and reports.
  • Support Manufacturing Engineers in troubleshooting process issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement, Lean, and 5S initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, manufacturing, or a related environment is preferred.
  • Experience in production support, engineering builds, NPI, process improvement, or engineering change activities, with basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation, Microsoft Office, and manufacturing systems such as ERP/MRP or MES; knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen, SPC, PFMEA, or corrective action methodologies is an advantage.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a hands-on and proactive approach to working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
