Job Description:

  • Evaluate patients’ functional, physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs to identify areas requiring occupational therapy intervention.
  • Develop and deliver individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on each patient’s goals and clinical needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ functional abilities, independence, participation, and overall quality of life.
  • Assess the need for adaptive equipment and assistive devices, and provide appropriate recommendations, training, and education to patients and caregivers.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and comprehensive clinical documentation, treatment notes, and patient records.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support holistic patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and techniques to promote continued progress and independence in daily activities.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Full registration with APHC
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in inpatient setting
