Role Overview

  • Primary Objective: Support the Operations Manager in maintaining smooth daily school operations, facilities management, vendor coordination, and safety compliance.
  • Core Profile: Requires practical sense, organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of facilities and logistics management.

Services & Responsibilities

  • Operations & Facilities Management: Assist in managing daily school operations and facilities to maintain a safe learning environment, and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvement works with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contractors.
  • Team Supervision & Administration: Help supervise Operations Support Officers (OSOs), and assist with quotations, work requests, budgets, project proposals, and operational documentation.
  • Safety & Security: Support the implementation and monitoring of school safety, security, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety measures, along with assisting in student discipline matters when necessary.
  • Compliance & Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform assigned operational tasks and sign an undertaking to safeguard official information.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Singapore-Cambridge GCE Normal (Academic/Technical) Level certificate or equivalent, with a pass in English.
  • Working Experience: Preferably 3 years of relevant working experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Preferably holds a valid Fire Safety Manager certification.

Skills & Competencies

  • Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: General computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Hours & Schedule

  • Monday to Thursday: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break).
  • Friday: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break).
  • Off Days: Weekends and gazetted public holidays.
