About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented
Operations Professional
with
over 2 years of hands-on experience in tourism operations
to oversee end-to-end operational delivery, streamline workflows, and ensure seamless, high-quality travel services for our clients. You will lead operational planning, team coordination, vendor management, and issue resolution — bringing deep industry expertise to drive efficiency and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and optimise all tourism operational workflows, including itinerary execution, booking management, ground handling, transport & accommodation coordination, and supplier liaison.
- Lead, train, and guide the operations team; set clear standards, monitor daily performance, and ensure consistent delivery against service level agreements.
- Manage relationships with hotels, airlines, transport providers, tour guides, and overseas partners; negotiate terms, confirm arrangements, and resolve operational discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee end-to-end trip logistics — from pre-departure planning, in-trip support, to post-trip follow-up — ensuring safety, punctuality, and guest satisfaction at every stage.
- Develop and update operational manuals, SOPs, risk management protocols, and contingency plans to ensure business resilience and compliance.
- Analyse operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the customer experience.
- Coordinate closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to align operational capabilities with business goals and client expectations.
- Respond to urgent on-ground incidents and client enquiries with speed, professionalism, and effective problem-solving.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in tourism / travel operations — with proven exposure to domestic and/or international tour operations, FIT & group travel, MICE, or leisure travel management.
- Deep working knowledge of travel products, booking systems, industry regulations, visa & documentation procedures, and supply chain dynamics.
- Strong track record in process design, team leadership, crisis management, and cross-departmental coordination within the travel sector.
- Highly organised, meticulous under pressure, and capable of making sound decisions quickly in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in travel management software / MS Office; familiarity with reservation systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required, additional languages are highly valued.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead operations role is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications in Tourism & Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related fields are a plus.
