Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Operations Supervisor to support the daily operations of Happiness Sunbo F&B Pte. Ltd.

The Operations Supervisor will supervise outlet staff, coordinate daily operations, monitor food quality and service standards, manage inventory and ensure that company SOPs, food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements are followed.

The successful candidate should be a reliable team leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced F&B environment and able to respond effectively to operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily F&B operations to ensure a smooth workflow.

Lead, guide and motivate outlet staff to achieve company service and operational standards.

Ensure staff follow company SOPs, food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

Monitor food preparation, food quality, presentation and SOPs standards.

Ensure the cleanliness and proper housekeeping operational areas.

Conduct regular checks on equipment, facilities and workplace conditions.

Report equipment breakdowns, maintenance issues and operational problems to management.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, storage and stock rotation.

Ensure proper handling and storage of food ingredients and supplies.

Monitor stock usage and minimise food wastage, stock losses and unnecessary expenses.

Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies where necessary.

Monitor daily sales and operational records where applicable.

Ensure proper cash-handling and operational procedures are followed.

Train and coach new and existing staff on operational procedures and SOPs standards.

Provide on-the-job guidance to staff and report performance issues to management.

Coordinate with suppliers, maintenance teams and other departments when required.

Assist management with operational inspections, audits and compliance requirements.

Support food preparation or production activities where required.

Assist with implementing operational improvements and company initiatives.

Prepare basic daily operational reports and communicate important issues to management.

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

Minimum 3years of relevant experience in F&B, catering, food production or operations.

Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred.

Good knowledge of daily F&B operations and customer service.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Able to supervise, motivate and work effectively with a diverse team.

Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

Experience in stock/inventory control will be an advantage.

Able to work independently and take initiative.

Responsible, hands-on and service-oriented.

Basic computer skills for operational records and reporting.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
