ii) Operations Support Engineer (Consultant, Onshore)

Role Overview

· Hands-on execution of website maintenance, enhancement works and production support activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform day-to-day website maintenance, including content updates and minor enhancements.

· Implement approved system enhancements, including page templates, component updates and feature improvements.

· Administer and support website content changes on GovTech Optical CMS.

· Monitor website performance and support production issue resolution.

· Perform defect fixing, preventive maintenance and optimisation activities.

· Support SIT, UAT and post-deployment verification activities.

· Assist with CMS upgrades, patches and compatibility checks.

· Respond to and resolve incidents within agreed service levels.

· Work with the Project Manager to respond to security issues and ensure that they are resolved within the compliance timeframes.

· Ensure compliance with Government ICT security, Digital Service Standards (DSS), IM8 requirements, data protection and audit requirements.

· Maintain accurate records of work performed and support reporting requirements.

· Perform analysis, remediation, testing and closure of vulnerabilities identified through VAPT, security scans, audits and security advisories, and support verification of fixes within required timelines.

Relevant Platform Experience

· Hands-on experience with GovTech’s Optical CMS, including providing technical operations and maintenance support for websites, troubleshooting, incident resolution, system monitoring, deployments/releases, and implementation of website enhancements, is necessary.

· Experience supporting Sitefinity or Sitecore websites hosted on the Government Content Website Platform (CWP) will be an added advantage.

· Experience resolving web application vulnerabilities and VAPT findings, including implementation and verification of remediation measures, will be an added advantage.

Website Enhancement Requirements and Effort Estimation

To facilitate proposal preparation, MPA has attached screenshots and descriptions of the website enhancement requirements identified to date. Please refer to “Website Enhancement Requirements.xlsx for details”. Vendors are expected to perform their own assessment and provide independent effort estimates, all assumptions used in the effort estimation should be clearly stated. The enhancements are expected to be completed before 31 March 2027.
