Job Summary

We are hiring a Consultant with expertise working as a Oracle Business Analyst / Oracle EBS Functional Consultant. A major focus of this role is designing best in class, end to end solutions while working heavily and continuously with Oracle development teams, middleware/integration teams, and external 3PL partners to design, build, validate, and deliver fully integrated solutions. This includes defining Oracle configurations, designing integration flows, supporting interface development, ensuring alignment with physical warehouse processes, and validating end-to-end business scenarios.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience acting as the functional owner for integration streams, driving them from requirements gathering through design, development, SIT, UAT, go-live, and hypercare. In addition to this, the candidate must possess strong Oracle EBS functional expertise across Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, and Shipping, and demonstrate proven experience collaborating closely with Oracle development teams, middleware teams, and 3PL partners to deliver comprehensive end to end supply chain solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Solution Ownership
  • Own the entire end to end solution, including: Oracle EBS solution design and Middleware & integration solution design and Integration with 3PL WMS, covering physical-to-system process alignment.
  • Provide best-in-class, scalable solution designs across Oracle, integration layer, and 3PL systems.
  • Lead functional architecture spanning process flow, data flow, interface sequencing, and system orchestration.
  • Ensure the full landscape (Oracle → Middleware → 3PL) works as a unified, efficient, compliant ecosystem.

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead workshops and detailed requirement discussions with business teams, IT, and external partners.
  • Translate business requirements into functional designs and configuration specifications.
  • Document AS IS / TO BE processes, gaps, and business impacts.
  • Communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Oracle EBS Functional Expertise

  • Provide configuration and functional expertise across: Order Management (OM), Inventory Management (INV), Purchasing (PO), Working knowledge of BOM and WIP.
  • Deep understanding of O2C and P2P business flows.
  • Integration Leadership – Middleware & 3PL WMS
  • Work heavily with middleware integration teams to design, build, and validate Oracle–3PL integrations.
  • Define mapping rules, transformation logic, error-handling, and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate directly with 3PL WMS partners to align system integrations with physical warehouse operations.
  • Own the integration workstream from requirements → design → development → SIT → E2E testing → UAT → go-live → hypercare.
  • Lead integration testing cycles involving Oracle, Middleware, and 3PL systems.

Inventory Transfer & Shipment Solutions (3PL Integrated)

  • Lead Oracle-side solution design for:
  • Intra OU inventory transfers, where 3PL WMS executes the physical movement, and Oracle updates happen via integrations.
  • Inter OU inventory transfers, with 3PL performing physical movements and Oracle EBS handling system and financial impacts.
  • Order shipment flows, where 3PL handles picking/packing/shipping, and Oracle manages orchestration and financial posting.

Technical Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with Oracle developers, middleware teams, and architects to convert functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Build detailed, high-quality Functional Design Documents (FDDs) with process flows, field mappings, and integration logic.
  • Ensure designs follow IT standards, architectural principles, and governance.

Testing, Go-Live, Hypercare & BAU Transition

  • Build test scripts; lead SIT and support UAT, including 3PL integration testing.
  • Provide onsite support during go-live and hypercare, focusing on integration flows.
  • Deliver a complete, clear handover to BAU teams after hypercare.

Tools, SQL & Methodologies

  • Use Jira and Confluence for documentation and work tracking.
  • Use SQL for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable working in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project models.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Must have10 to 20 years of experience as an Oracle Business Analyst / Oracle EBS Functional Consultant. Overall experience not more than 25 years
  • Experience working in Supply Chain industry is mandatory.
  • Strong functional expertise in OM, INV, PO, with exposure to BOM/WIP.
  • Experience working in end to end Oracle, middleware, and 3PL integration solutions.
  • Hands-on experience leading integration designs with middleware platforms and 3PL WMS is required.
  • Strong experience delivering inventory transfer and shipping solutions in Oracle integrated with 3PL.
  • Excellent functional documentation skills (FDDs, integration specs, mappings).
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences.
