Job Summary

Handle vehicle and traffic management within a 5-star hotel property, ensuring safety and a pleasant arrival experience for guests while supporting the valet team with luggage handling and related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vehicle movement within the hotel property to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety
  • Direct vehicles into designated parking areas to optimize space and efficiency
  • Handle loading and unloading of luggage to and from vehicles carefully and efficiently
  • Manage taxi queues to maintain order and reduce wait times for guests
  • Communicate bilingually in English and simple Mandarin to engage with Mandarin-speaking external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication
  • Practice and enforce safety measures for self, guests, and vehicles at all times
  • Endure standing for long hours during shift duties to maintain operational presence
  • Provide a welcoming and pleasant arrival experience to hotel patrons through courteous and professional interaction
  • Perform shift duties as scheduled to maintain continuous service coverage
  • Assist the valet team with similar assignments as needed to support overall operations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Demonstrate a positive work attitude and honesty to maintain trust and reliability
  • Exhibit good eyesight and polite demeanor to ensure safety and guest satisfaction
