Partner Integration Team Lead, coordinating HP and Compute ODM/CM resources to establish high quality system and functional connectivity, enabling business operations between HP and the partner and representing partner requirements to HP IT system design teams. Unique mastery and recognized authority on all functional areas and subject matter knowledge relating to HP and partner systems and processes, including technologies, theories and techniques. Leads the development of innovative principles and ideas, including new methods of connectivity to partners for reliable Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Financial transactions. Leads creation and maintaining of Partner Integration Playbooks and leads training of internal and external teams. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
o Leads large, global cross-functional project teams, including Partner Integration of new supplier or new capability with existing supplier, in framing business challenges, structuring analytical approaches, gathering key data, evaluating alternative solutions and executing project objectives to completion.
o Owns complex strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.
o Improves performance (capability, availability, timeliness) by coordinating and integrating processes, resources, toolsets and data architectures, in a more effective manner and ensuring that changes are self-sustaining in production.
o Establishes and manages cross-functional, cross-regional and/or cross-business unit teams to design and implement end-to-end capabilities and strategies.
o Engages with business leaders on a wide range of high-level supply chain issues, including risk management and new growth opportunities.
o Independently structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies by applying advanced, in- depth supply chain and industry knowledge.
o Interprets data to create new processes, strategies, and tools to be used for supply chain business objectives.
o Creates new frameworks for delivery and contributes to tools, templates, and intellectual capital.
o Provides quantitative and qualitative support for recommendations by conducting and clearly explaining analyses and by leveraging team capabilities in data analysis, operations research, decision analysis and financial modeling.
o Leads team in creation, maintenance, and training of Partner Integration models and playbooks.
o Negotiates roles with senior leaders of all functional teams required to successfully deliver Partner Integration and Transformation projects.
Education and Experience Required:
o First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
o Typically 10+ years of experience in multiple supply chain functions and/or business functions.
o Experience on project Simplify and ongoing Transformation projects with IT, business, and external partners required.
o Advanced knowledge of broad Supply Chain business processes, HP SAP and B2B infrastructure, and EDI connectivity with external manufacturing partners.
Knowledge and Skills:
o Advanced analytical and problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to resolve problems and drive issues to closure.
o Extensive knowledge and implementation of SAP, Ariba, B2B, and EDI signals with partners.
o Advanced team and project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently.
o Excellent business acumen, technical knowledge within multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications, technologies, and emerging industry trends.
o Solid understanding of business architecture and data models.
o Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity. Many projects do not specify requirements or processes or systems, but instead outline outcomes and so requirements, processes, systems must be architected
o Deliberate, self-starter who can concretely define and manage expectations within a clearly documented plan
o Strong ability to network across GBU, PSO and Market teams to find alignment on solutions, secure resources (even when not assigned), negotiate agreements, and drive implementation (even when resources not assigned)
o Collaborate in and outside of SC - specifically ability to drive leverage and commonality (and funding) with functions related to projects.
o Understanding of Supply Chain IT. Systems, processes, resources, etc. (how resources are assigned, projects are structured and resources required.
o Program / project management in Supply Chain and/or IT environment:
· Knowledge/awareness of end to end SC (including Logistics).
· Experience of managing cross functional and ideally international initiatives.
o Working knowledge of key financial drivers for supply chain.
o Proven experience and top-notch outcomes of all the above.
