It also includes welcoming and caring for people from diverse cultural backgrounds, including migrant workers.

Working closely with the pastoral team and ministry leaders, the staff member will support the life and growth of the church by strengthening cell groups as places of spiritual formation, community, and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Equip and strengthen the cell groups by developing and coordinating discipleship resources, churchwide study series, and equipping for existing and new cell leaders.

• Provide guidance, encouragement, and ongoing support to zone leaders and cell leaders, including facilitating continuing training.

• Conduct regular cell visitations to build relationships, offer pastoral support, and understand the needs of leaders and members.

Ministry Coordination and Events

• Support and coordinate zone and cell-level events, including planning, logistics, and volunteer mobilisation.

• Provide administrative and communication support for cell, prayer, and newcomer ministries, working in collaboration with church staff and ministry teams.

Newcomer Integration and Discipleship

• Welcome and care for newcomers by facilitating follow-up, basic discipleship, and integration into cell groups and the wider church community.

• Guide newcomers in taking appropriate next steps in their faith journey and church involvement.

Prayer Ministry Partnership

• Work in partnership with the Prayer Committee to support and facilitate weekly prayer meetings, monthly prayer and praise gatherings, training, retreats, and other prayer initiatives, both on-site and online.

Outreach to Multicultural Workers

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee monthly multicultural group gatherings, ensuring that programmes are pastoral, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of the multicultural workers' community.

• Provide pastoral care, discipleship, and spiritual encouragement to participants through regular engagement and prayer.

Sunday Services

• Participate in and provide support for all Sunday services, including welcome and hospitality, corporate prayer, and other administrative duties.

• Work with pastors and ministry teams to ensure services are conducted in an orderly, reverent, and pastoral manner.

Pastoral Care

• Provide pastoral care to church members through shut-in, hospital, and wake visits.

• Offer prayer, presence, and appropriate follow-up during times of illness, bereavement, and crisis.

• Conduct wake services.

Churchwide and Denominational Events

• Support and participate in major churchwide and denominational events, such as Easter Outreach, Christmas Cheer, Church Camp and TRAC events, as required.

Requirements

• Willingness to serve on Sundays and outside regular office hours, with time off in lieu.

• A team player who is able to work collaboratively with church staff, ministry leaders, members, and the Supervising Pastor.

• Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple responsibilities with initiative and care.

• Teachable, open to feedback, and committed to personal and ministerial growth.

• Training or experience in Christian education, discipleship, or spiritual formation will be an advantage.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
