Business Development Consultant – Digital Marketing / Media Solutions

Our client is an award-winning digital marketing agency providing a wide range of digital marketing, media and technology solutions to businesses across Singapore and beyond.

They are looking for a high-performing Business Development Consultant to join their growing team.

About the Role

This is a consultative sales role suited for someone who thrives on uncovering client needs, understanding business challenges and recommending tailored digital marketing solutions.

Our client is looking for someone who is highly driven, naturally persuasive and consistently able to exceed sales targets. You should be confident engaging decision-makers, developing new business opportunities and closing deals with a solutions-focused approach.

This opportunity is particularly suited to an exceptional sales professional with a proven track record of consistently beating sales targets, especially within media, technology, digital marketing or other solutions-based environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify, qualify and develop high-potential leads through proactive prospecting and your own initiative.
  • Take a hunter approach to business development rather than relying solely on inbound leads.
  • Engage prospects through needs analysis, solution presentation and persuasive storytelling.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and recommend tailored digital marketing and media solutions.
  • Close sales across a range of services, including SEO, SEM, Social Media and full-funnel digital marketing solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across existing accounts.
  • Coordinate closely with production and delivery teams to ensure campaign quality and timely execution.
  • Liaise with finance teams where required to support timely invoicing and payment collection.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing, media and technology trends to strengthen your ability to advise clients.
  • Continuously develop your digital marketing knowledge through structured learning and real-world exposure.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed sales KPIs.
  • Strong preference for hunters with a proven track record of winning new business.
  • Experience in consultative sales, business development, account development or solutions selling.
  • Experience selling digital marketing, media, advertising, technology, SaaS or other solutions-based services will be highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to engage clients, uncover their needs and translate those needs into commercial solutions.
  • Confident negotiation and closing abilities.
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently and consistently deliver results.
  • Dynamic and adaptable, with the ability to work with different clients and industries.
  • Demonstrated interest in digital marketing. Relevant courses or certifications such as Google, Meta, TikTok or other digital marketing programmes will be highly valued.
  • Degree / Diploma in Business, Marketing or a related discipline is preferred

Salary:

  • Up to $5,000 + Commission + PB

Working hours:

  • Mon to Fri: 9am–6pm
