Drive Manufacturing Innovation & Process Excellence

Ready to take your Process Engineering experience into a role with broader exposure across process development, technology transfer, scale-up and manufacturing optimisation?

We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to contribute to technical projects supporting new product introductions, process improvements, equipment implementation and manufacturing operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help translate process concepts into robust, scalable and compliant manufacturing solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of engineering deliverables across capital projects, new product introductions, technology implementation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support throughout the development, transfer, scale-up and commercialisation of manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Plan and execute engineering trials, process studies, experiments and technical assessments to evaluate new or improved processes.
  • Work with Technical Services and project stakeholders to define Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and Key Process Parameters required for process and equipment validation.
  • Act as a technical resource for assigned processes and equipment, supporting troubleshooting, investigations, design reviews, change controls and capital planning.
  • Develop process concepts, feasibility assessments, processing schemes, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and project scopes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance process safety, product quality, yield, productivity, cost effectiveness and material efficiency.
  • Support automation and process engineering activities, including instrumentation requirements, control strategies, alarm philosophies and shutdown systems.
  • Prepare and review GMP-compliant manufacturing procedures, master batch records and technical documentation.
  • Design and conduct process evaluations, analyse technical findings and prepare study protocols, reports, technical memoranda and project updates.
  • Assess new technologies and support their integration into existing commercial manufacturing processes.
  • Drive scale-up and technology transfer from R&D into manufacturing, ensuring processes remain robust during implementation and post-launch.
  • Investigate process and manufacturing deviations using structured root-cause analysis and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Develop, implement and monitor CAPA plans arising from technical investigations and process issues.
  • Participate in URS preparation, equipment retrofit projects, FAT, SAT and equipment qualificationactivities.
  • Support Quality Risk Assessments (QRA) and process hazard assessments to identify and mitigate technical and operational risks.
  • Develop preliminary project cost estimates and technical scopes to support CAPEX proposals and investment planning.
  • Manage multiple engineering activities simultaneously while balancing project timelines, technical requirements and operational priorities.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Automation, Technical Services and Project teams to deliver effective engineering solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering or another relevant scientific/technical discipline, or higher.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Development or a related technical function.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing environments will be advantageous.
  • Strong technical analysis, troubleshooting, investigation and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting required timelines.
  • Sound understanding of manufacturing processes, process development, technology transfer, scale-up and technical operations.
  • Proactive and accountable approach with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, compliance and operational excellence.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

Broaden your Process Engineering expertise through exposure to technology transfer, process development, scale-up, validation, equipment projects and manufacturing optimisation.

You’ll work across diverse technical initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, giving you the opportunity to contribute directly to process robustness, manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement within a regulated environment.

If you're looking to advance your Process Engineering career while gaining wider exposure to technical and manufacturing projects, we welcome your application.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
