Plasterer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out plastering and cement rendering works at construction and renovation sites.
  • Prepare walls, ceilings and other surfaces before plastering.
  • Mix and apply cement, mortar, plaster and other finishing materials.
  • Level and smooth surfaces to achieve the required finish.
  • Repair cracks, uneven surfaces and damaged plaster where required.
  • Perform internal and external plastering works.
  • Take measurements and ensure work is completed according to drawings and site requirements.
  • Carry out patching and touch-up works after installation or other construction activities.
  • Ensure good workmanship and proper finishing quality.
  • Use plastering tools and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and keep the work area clean.
  • Follow all workplace safety requirements and use the appropriate PPE.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other workers to complete work according to schedule.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in plastering, cement rendering or general construction works.
  • Able to perform plastering works independently.
  • Good workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Able to read basic measurements and follow site instructions.
  • Physically fit and able to work at construction sites.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends or night shifts when required.
  • Relevant construction experience or skills certification is an advantage.
