The posting

Position Summary

Responsible for the overall daily operations and management of the Pool/Billiard Centre, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth operations, staff performance, cleanliness, safety, and achievement of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the Pool / Billiard Centre.
  • Supervise and schedule staffs including part-time staffs.
  • Ensure Pool & Billiard tables, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good condition.
  • Monitor customer bookings, walk-ins, memberships and table usage.
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
  • Manage cash collection, POS transactions and daily sales reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory and control the usage of beverages, food and other supplies, where applicable.
  • Ensure the Centre maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and work performance.
  • Train and coach staff on customer service and operational procedures.
  • Organise promotions, tournaments and customer engagement activities.
  • Monitor daily/monthly sales performance and work towards revenue targets.
  • Control operating costs and minimise wastage or losses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare daily operational reports and escalate issues to management.
  • Perform other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in billiard, entertainment, recreation, F&B, club or leisure operations.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good leadership and staff-management abilities.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.
  • Good problem-solving and conflict-management skills.
  • Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of billiards / pool is an advantage.
