Job Description

We are looking for a Privacy Support Specialist to join a global technology environment, supporting privacy-related enquiries for users in the South Korean market.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in customer operations, privacy, compliance, Trust & Safety, case management or user support who is interested in developing deeper exposure to privacy operations and data protection.

You will serve as a key point of contact for privacy-related enquiries, ensuring cases are accurately documented, assessed and routed to the appropriate teams. You will work closely with regional and global stakeholders across Privacy Operations, Legal and other support functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and assess privacy-related enquiries from users in the South Korean market through designated support channels.
  • Gather relevant information and accurately document user requests and concerns.
  • Review and categorise cases according to established privacy policies, processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Escalate and route privacy requests to the appropriate Privacy Operations, Legal or specialist teams.
  • Support requests relating to personal information, data access and other privacy rights.
  • Identify cases requiring further investigation or escalation and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate case records while handling personal and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Work with regional and global stakeholders to resolve complex user enquiries.
  • Support reporting and analysis of enquiry volumes, recurring issues and operational trends.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of privacy support processes and user experience.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree with relevant professional experience.
  • Approximately 1–3+ years of experience in customer/user support, operations, Trust & Safety, compliance, privacy operations, case management or a related environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established processes and documentation requirements.
  • Able to assess enquiries, identify the appropriate next steps and manage cases independently.
  • Professional proficiency in Korean is required as the role involves handling privacy-related enquiries and communications from users in South Korea.
  • Professional proficiency in English for internal communication, documentation and collaboration with regional/global teams.
  • Prior experience in privacy, data protection or technology operations would be advantageous but is not essential.
