Job Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day engineering and technical support for assigned manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and analyse manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain process control plans, quality assurance plans, work instructions, and operating procedures.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including batch production records, process specifications, critical parameters, and controlled documents.
- Review and analyse process performance, identify root causes of production issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead and manage multiple process improvement projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed within the required timeline and budget.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other relevant departments to resolve process-related issues.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company standards, quality requirements, and applicable procedures.
- Practise effective project management and cost control while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take ownership of assigned processes/components and manage competing priorities within tight deadlines
Requirements
- Diploma in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Experience in process improvement, process control, and manufacturing documentation.
- Good understanding of quality assurance procedures and process control plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage a wide range of responsibilities effectively.
- Good project management and communication skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
