Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency, product quality and achievement of operational targets.
  • Monitor, evaluate and optimise manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, plant capacity and overall operational performance.
  • Identify production bottlenecks, investigate process abnormalities and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyse production data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in engineering projects, process modifications and plant improvement initiatives, focusing on energy efficiency, capacity enhancement and operational reliability.
  • Support process safety, quality and regulatory compliance through risk assessments, operating procedures and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS and Quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable improvement solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, track process improvement initiatives and contribute to production capacity planning and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant process engineering experience within the chemical manufacturing or petrochemical industry.
  • Knowledge of process safety principles, risk assessments, HAZOP or related methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other manufacturing management systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement practical process improvements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, product quality and operational excellence.
  • Proactive, adaptable and self-motivated, with a continuous learning mindset and a passion for manufacturing excellence.
