Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing and quotation requests through to purchase order issuance and delivery follow-up.
- Source materials, spare parts, equipment, and services to support workshop, technical service, logistics, and operational requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing where appropriate, and ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or commercial issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers while supporting vendor onboarding and performance monitoring.
- Work closely with Sales, Technical Service, Workshop, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval processes, and procurement procedures.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation within the ERP system.
- Support procurement reporting, inventory coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience will have an advantage.
- Experience in the marine, offshore, engineering, manufacturing, or technical services industry is beneficial but not required.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and quotation management is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP Business One) is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
