About the role

Salary: Up to $3,200 Mondays to Fridays: 7.30am to 4.30pm (including 1 hour lunch break) Company transport provided from various point (mostly east)

As a Procurement Officer, you will manage purchase order issuance and open order execution for new parts, repairs, and exchanges to ensure timely material availability in support of production requirements. You will monitor material shortages, order status, and supplier commitments, ensuring accurate and timely updates.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor material shortages, order status, and supplier commitments, ensuring accurate and timely updates
  • Ensure material fulfillment while maintaining optimal inventory levels through effective management of active WIP and monitoring of aging finished goods and WIP
  • Analyze parts usage and inventory trends and implement appropriate actions to maintain inventory at optimal levels
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve material quality issues, including defective parts to minimize impact to operations
  • Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and other stakeholders to support material readiness and business priorities

About you

  • Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant procurement, supply chain, or materials management experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in purchase order management, supplier coordination, material planning, or inventory management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate material constraints and develop practical supply solutions
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional and international business environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A team player with high standards of performance and a results-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
