Job Summary

As a Production Engineer, you will oversee daily fabrication workshop operations to maximize productivity, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with teams to optimize processes, lead problem-solving, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate fabrication processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure consistent fabrication results
  • Manage factory and equipment maintenance to maintain safety and operational efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and company policies in all operations
  • Collaborate with project teams to interpret customer requirements and translate design drawings into practical fabrication solutions
  • Apply value engineering techniques to optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards
  • Plan production schedules, allocate resources effectively, and resolve conflicts to meet delivery deadlines
  • Monitor production output, track costs, and assess progress against targets for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with specialist vendors to fulfill project specifications and timelines
  • Lead daily meetings with supervisors and teams to ensure smooth workshop operations and address issues promptly

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production or industrial engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and materials
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with vendors and clients
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Self-driven and committed to continuous improvement
