The posting

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the production team in the assembly of wire harnesses according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, taping, and cable assembly using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Prepare materials and components required for production.
  • Support machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting for production equipment.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
  • Report any quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or material shortages to the Production Supervisor.
  • Assist in testing finished wire harness assemblies using designated testing equipment.
  • Ensure accurate completion of production records and documentation.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and comply with 5Spractices and workplace safety regulations.
  • Assist with stock movement and inventory control of production materials when required.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements:

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent technical qualification (preferred).
  • Good eyesight, no color blindness
  • Experience in wire harness assembly or electronics manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Able to read basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiar with hand tools, crimping tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

5-day work Mon to Fri - 8am to 5.30pm, aircon environment

13th month AWS, variable bonus, dental claim, Health Insurance

Basic exclude monthly transport, performance and attendance allowance.
