Job Description:
- Manage and coordinate engineering projects from project initiation through completion.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and project deliverables.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, production, quality, engineering, and other internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, trackers, engineering documentation, and progress reports.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including design and drawing reviews, manufacturability assessment, and production readiness.
- Coordinate engineering changes and resolve technical issues encountered during project execution.
- Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure projects meet customer requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules.
- Review and follow up on engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and other technical documents.
- Assist in investigating quality and manufacturing issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and implement appropriate mitigation actions.
- Coordinate prototype, qualification, testing, and first-article activities where required.
- Prepare project status updates and communicate key issues, risks, and action items to management and customers.
- Ensure engineering activities comply with company procedures, quality systems, and applicable industry standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve project execution, productivity, quality, and cost.
- Work with OEM suppliers to resolve all non-conforming (NC) parts issues and ensure replacements and warranty coverage are provided.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in project engineering, manufacturing engineering, NPI, or semiconductor equipment manufacturing is advantageous.
- Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of CAD software and ability to interpret mechanical drawings would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
- Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
