Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise on-site installation works, including cable laying, termination, containment/metal works, and equipment installation.
- Liaise with civil contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth site execution and proper interface management.
- Perform system testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and rectification during installation and commissioning stages.
- Prepare and update drawings, as-built documentation, method statements, and test reports.
- Provide technical support to the project team and assist in progress monitoring and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with railway/infrastructure standards, safety procedures, and site practices.
- Support project coordination and other assigned duties as required.
Job Requirements:
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in railway, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
- Experience in system installation, testing, and commissioning is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of railway/infrastructure standards and site safety procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently on-site and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in LTA rail projects or system works.
- Familiar with AutoCAD or MicroStation CAD.
- Experience in testing & commissioning activities is an advantage.
