The Project Manager will lead the day-to-day delivery ofthe project and commercial management consultancy service for thewarehouse-to-cold-storage conversion. The role will act as the primarycoordination point between the Client, consultants, QPs, contractor,specialists and internal project / commercial management team to ensure theproject is delivered safely, within the agreed programme, budget and governanceframework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day project coordination, communication and reporting across the pre-contract, construction and TOP / DLP stages.
- Establish and maintain the master programme, look-ahead schedules, action trackers, risk register, issue log and decision register.
- Chair project and site progress meetings, prepare minutes and follow up on actions with relevant parties.
- Coordinate contractor, consultant, QP and specialist interfaces, including refrigeration, M&E, fire safety, structural, authority and operational requirements.
- Monitor progress, quality, safety and readiness for testing, commissioning, inspections, handover and operational commencement.
- Manage RFIs, submissions, change requests, variation tracking and contractual correspondence in coordination with the commercial management team.
- Prepare concise monthly progress reports covering programme, cost, risk, approvals, safety, quality, key decisions and upcoming milestones.
- Support TOP, handover, O&M documentation, as-built records, defect management and DLP close-out.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Building Services, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ relevant experience in project management, preferably involving industrial, logistics, food-grade, cold storage, M&E-intensive or A&A conversion projects.
- Strong understanding of Singapore construction delivery, authority processes, site coordination, contract administration and stakeholder management.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, QPs, specialist vendors and client-side reporting requirements.
- Good working knowledge of project controls, programme monitoring, risk management, change control, cost reporting and document control platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and escalate issues promptly.
- Professional certification such as PMP, RICS, CIOB, PE, LEED / Green Mark or equivalent will be advantageous.
