Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Lead project coordination and ensure timely gathering of requirements from users, consultants, contractors, government agencies and relevant authorities to meet project timelines.
- Facilitate hospital planning discussions and coordinate user requirements throughout the design, construction and post-construction phases, including facilities maintenance and upgrading.
- Oversee the documentation, resolution and approval of user requirements, ensuring accurate records and timely sign-off of project milestones.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders to address site issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Review architectural, engineering and infrastructure designs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards and hospital operational needs.
- Represent the hospital in design reviews and project meetings, ensuring proposed solutions are practical, maintainable and fit for purpose.
- Identify and mitigate design, infrastructure and operational risks, incorporating fire safety, emergency preparedness and business continuity requirements.
- Liaise with relevant authorities on regulatory compliance, licensing, commissioning and operational readiness.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support effective project delivery and hospital development objectives.
- Keep abreast of healthcare planning developments and provide secretariat support, along with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architectural, Civil & Structural/Electrical/Mechanical
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably with Fire Safety certification (SCDF registered) and experience.
- MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer preferred.
