Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead planning sessions for the development and execution of Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) contracts.
- Manage staffing, resources, and other requirements to ensure successful project execution.
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct project risk analysis to minimise unforeseen obstacles, delays, and costs.
- Manage payment claims, Variation Orders (VOs), Purchase Orders (POs), and other contract-related matters.
- Develop TBM maintenance plans and work with relevant stakeholders to implement support and mitigation measures to prevent recurrence of TBM issues.
- Manage and oversee Hong Kong projects, including monitoring project progress, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring contractual and operational requirements are met.
- Travel to Hong Kong as required to follow up on project progress, attend meetings, coordinate site activities, and resolve project-related matters.
- Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, time management, strategic planning, and risk management skills.
- Perform any other duties as required to support the Company’s business operations and development.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics /Electronic//Electrical / mechanical/Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required language(s): English, Mandarin fluency in written and spoken (to coordinate with the Chinese speaking client, supplier, contractor etc.)
- Required skill(s): MS Office and drawing software.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and being proactive in responding to issues.
- A team player with strong passion in project management, marketing.
- Resourceful, meticulous, able to multi-task and handle pressure well.
- Experience working in Regional Rail Transport industry is a plus.
- Willingness to travel.
