Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, development and execution of forensic psychology research projects, including studies related to offending behaviours, risk factors, protective factors and prevention efforts.
- Conduct literature reviews and analyse local and international research to identify emerging trends and patterns in offending behaviours.
- Assist in designing and implementing research studies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups and other data collection methods.
- Support the collection, management and analysis of qualitative and quantitative research data.
- Analyse research findings to identify behavioural insights and contribute to evidence-based recommendations.
- Prepare research outputs including reports, presentation decks, briefs, infographics and other communication materials for different audiences.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities, including research discussions, webinars, training sessions and dialogue sessions.
- Assist with research documentation, project coordination and administrative activities related to research initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support forensic psychology and behavioural research projects.
Key Requirements:
- Degree with Honours in Psychology or a related field, with interest or exposure in forensic psychology, criminology, behavioural science or related research areas.
- Strong understanding of research methodology, study design and data collection approaches.
- Experience in conducting research related to human behaviour, offending patterns, risk factors or social issues will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of psychometric principles and experience with surveys, interviews, focus groups or behavioural assessments is preferred.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to translate research findings into clear reports and presentations.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
