The role helps ensure that raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG) are checked, tested and followed up in a timely, accurate and food-safety-compliant manner so that RM / FG release can be completed without unnecessary delay.

Responsibilities: Sample management and testing support

  • Receive, label, prepare and organise RM / FG samples for QC checks and external laboratory testing.
  • Support sample registration, sample tracking and testing priority follow-up.

  • Send raw material and finished goods samples to external laboratories for testing where required.
  • Follow up with external laboratories on pending results and testing status.
  • Perform and document internal physical and appearance checks on RM / FG samples, including colour, appearance, lumps, black particles, sieve condition, solubility and other visible abnormalities.
  • Carry out sieve checks, powder mixing / dissolution checks and visual inspections to identify potential issues such as lumps, black particles, unusual colour / appearance, floating particles, residue, settling or other visible abnormalities.
  • Record observations clearly in the QC checklist / tracker, including photos or comparison samples where required, so that abnormal findings can be reviewed and traced properly.
  • Escalate any abnormal finding, borderline observation, inconsistent result, missing information or urgent release concern promptly to the QC Manager / QC Executive before any release decision is made.

COA and result follow-up support

  • Assist in checking and compiling test results for RM / FG release.
  • Support COA preparation and result entry under the guidance of the QC Manager / QC Executive.
  • Ensure QC records, sample records and result follow-up trackers are updated accurately.
  • Highlight urgent release priorities and testing delays that may affect production or customer commitments.

Food safety, FSSC 22000 and compliance

  • Perform QC tasks in accordance with company SOPs, FSSC 22000 food safety management system requirements, GMP, hygiene and contamination prevention practices.
  • Apply basic food safety awareness when handling samples, laboratory materials, equipment and documents.
  • Report sample abnormalities, potential contamination concerns, hygiene issues, equipment issues or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and traceable records to support audit readiness and safe product release.
  • Support audit preparation and follow-up actions where QC involvement is required.

Laboratory operations

  • Maintain good laboratory housekeeping, cleanliness and sample organisation.
  • Support routine checks of QC equipment and laboratory condition.
  • Coordinate or support equipment calibration follow-up where required.
  • Manage basic lab consumables and highlight replenishment needs.
  • Support proper storage and disposal of laboratory chemicals, samples and waste in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Assist during investigations, retesting, sample comparison and complaint-related checks.

About You:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
