Quality Assurance (QA) Executive (GMP Quality Support)

Location: Singapore

Reports to: QA Manager

Role Summary

Supports the Quality Manager in maintaining the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and internal quality standards.

This role focuses on the day-to-day execution of GMP quality processes, documentation control, internal audits, and quality investigations to ensure consistent product quality for medicated oils and topical products.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management System (QMS) Support

- Support the QA Manager in maintaining and improving the company’s QMS in line with GMP and regulatory requirements.

- Assist in the development, review, and control of SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.

- Ensure proper implementation of document control, change control, deviation management, and CAPA processes.

GMP Compliance & Quality Monitoring

- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.

- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP standards and internal quality procedures.

- Support preparation for regulatory inspections, audits, and certification processes.

Quality Assurance Operations

- Assist in monitoring quality standards across production activities.

- Support product release documentation and ensure all required quality records are complete.

- Investigate quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Production, R&D, and Warehouse teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into operational processes.

- Support troubleshooting of quality-related issues during manufacturing and product development.

Quality Audits & Documentation

- Assist in conducting internal quality audits to verify compliance with SOPs and GMP standards.

- Maintain accurate QA records, reports, and quality documentation for internal review and regulatory compliance.

- Support supplier quality documentation and qualification activities where required.

Continuous Improvement

- Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for improving quality processes.

- Participate in initiatives to strengthen quality systems and manufacturing practices.

Requirements

- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Food Science, or related discipline.

- 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within pharmaceutical, healthcare, cosmetic, food, or FMCG manufacturing environments.

- Experience with GMP, Quality Management Systems (QMS), SOP documentation, and quality audits.

- Familiarity with CAPA, deviation management, and regulatory compliance processes will be advantageous.

- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and problem-solving ability.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Able to work independently while supporting the QA Manager in maintaining quality standards.
