Job Summary / Purpose

  • Ensure product quality and compliance by performing inspection, testing, and release activities across incoming, in-process, and finished goods.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, minimize rework, and ensure on-time delivery to customers

Responsibilities and Accountabilities A. Inspection & Quality Control

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with specifications, control plans, and working instructions
  • Ensure only conforming materials and products are released for production and shipment
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria accurately

B. Non-Conformance Management

  • Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials/products
  • Raise and support investigation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

C. Documentation & Traceability

  • Record inspection results accurately and ensure full traceability
  • Prepare and verify Certificates of Analysis (COA) where required
  • Ensure timely and accurate system transactions (e.g., release, hold, rejection in ERP system)

D. Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and rework
  • Provide feedback on process improvements and inspection optimization
  • Support data collection and basic analysis for quality trends

E. Compliance, Safety &Housekeeping

  • Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and applicable product safety standards (e.g., GMP, food contact compliance)
  • Maintain 5S and good laboratory practices in QA areas
  • Report any safety, quality, or compliance risks immediately

Skills Proficiency

  • Knowledge of inspection and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Basic understanding of sampling plans (AQL) and statistical concepts (SPC preferred)
  • Familiarity with ERP / quality systems
  • Good documentation and report writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Effective communication and teamwork

Professional Experience

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • QA Technician I: Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
  • QA Technician II: Minimum 5 years’ experience with strong QA competency
  • QA Technician III: Minimum 7 years’ experience with strong QA competency
