Pre-Contract Stage
- Carry out quantity take-offs and cost comparisons for major work trades
- Assist in establishing client requirements and conducting feasibility studies
- Monitor relevant planning authority websites to identify potential tender opportunities
- Prepare, complete, and submit pre-qualification (PQ) documents
- Review and assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information is available for tender preparation
- Source, request, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare tender submissions, including cost estimates and supporting documents
- Submit tenders and follow up on any clarifications or queries
Post Contract Stage
Responsibilities:
- Understand and reasonably interpret contract document & drawing
- Understand contract provision thoroughly and advise the risk/areas of concern
- To perform measurement and cost breakdown
- To prepare payment certification to sub-contractor/ supplier
- To prepare payment claim to client
- To identify and evaluate variation work
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
- Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings
- Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Analytical and meticulous with strong interpersonal and good negotiation skill.
- A dynamic, positive and forward thinking personality will be essential
- Ability to work with tight deadlines will be an added advantage
