Key Responsibilities
- Assist in tender preparation, including quantity take-off, cost estimation, and compilation of tender submissions.
- Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing tender clarifications and supporting documents.
- Carry out quantity take-off, measurement, and cost planning for ongoing projects.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Evaluate subcontractor claims and assist in payment certification.
- Conduct site measurements and verify work done.
- Maintain proper documentation of contracts, variations, and claims.
- Liaise with project team, consultants, and subcontractors on cost-related matters.
- Monitor project costs and highlight potential cost issues.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Singapore, preferably in civil and infrastructure projects
- Basic experience in tender preparation and quantity take-off.
- Familiar with local construction practices and authority requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Able to work independently with guidance from senior staff.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
