Job Summary

Execute cost planning and commercial management throughout project lifecycles, ensuring contract compliance and profitability in interior renovation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage project costs and commercial aspects from inception to completion to ensure budget adherence
  • Administer contracts by understanding, adhering to, and managing project and tender agreements
  • Assess interim payments accurately to maintain cash flow and project progress
  • Provide procurement advice and assist during tendering procedures to secure competitive bids
  • Monitor contract variations affecting costs and generate reports to track project profitability
  • Perform value engineering and risk management calculations to optimize project outcomes
  • Source suppliers and subcontractors and obtain quotations to support procurement decisions
  • Process payment claims promptly through effective communication with stakeholders
  • Work independently while accepting responsibility for assigned tasks and deliverables

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying (QS) with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Any degree (excluding QS) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in interior works
