The posting

Our client is a BCA-registered General Builder with an active pipeline of building projects. They are seeking a hands-on Quantity Surveyor to manage project commercial control from award to final account, working closely with site and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow.
  • Handle progress claims, variations, and final accounts with clients and consultants.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage subcontractor packages and payments.
  • Monitor cost exposure, identify risks, and drive commercial recovery.
  • Support tender pricing and post-contract cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and financial procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a QS with a Main Contractor (Building works). Candidate with more experience will be consider for Senior Role
  • Proven track record in post-contract cost control and subcontract management.
  • Familiar with SIA / PSSCOC / BCA contract administration will be advantageous.
  • Strong in variations, claims, and commercial negotiation.
