Job Summary
You will manage reception duties, assist parents, students, staff, and vendors with enquiries, and perform general administrative tasks to support smooth school operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage reception area by answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and handling general enquiries efficiently
- Assist parents, students, staff, and vendors with enquiries to provide timely and accurate information
- Use school IT systems to perform general administrative duties, including typing and data entry
- Follow up with parents on absent pupils and communicate school messages clearly and promptly
- Provide basic first aid assistance to sick or injured pupils and escalate cases as necessary
- Support school administration by managing forms, notice boards, supplies, and general office duties
- Assist with canteen operations, utilities management, FAS applications, arrears fees, and bus bookings
- Update and maintain school activity notice boards to ensure current information is displayed
- Maintain and replenish office forms and supplies to support daily school functions
- Support store and supplies management to ensure availability of necessary materials
- Collaborate with team members to support other general administrative duties as required
Required competencies and certifications
- Full GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level certificate or equivalent
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills in reception duties, preferably in a school environment
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team player with a high level of initiative
Other Information
Working days and hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 4.00 pm
- No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
