The posting

The Services required are setout as follows:

1. Attend to all incoming phonecalls, enquiries and deliveries promptly.

2. Attend to walk-in students,teachers, parents, vendors and school stakeholders with care and empathy.

3. Attend to unwell studentsand coordinate with all relevant stakeholders until student leaves the schoolsafely.

4. Provide simple first aid toinjured/unwell students and maintain the sick bay including first aid supplies.

5. Call and liaise with parentson administrative matters e.g. GIRO and Edusave applications, financial aidsupporting documents etc.

6. Man the General Officereception counter and ensure it is clean and tidy.

7. Manage office administrativetasks including using basic Microsoft Office applications (e.g. data entry,preparing Word documents and Excel spreadsheets), managing office suppliesinventory, and making trips to the Post Office.

8. Assist with other ad-hoctasks as assigned by the school.

Candidates possessing a validBasic First Aid with CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) + AED (AutomatedExternal Defibrillator) certification are preferred.

TheContractor shall arrange for a mandatory Basic First Aid course withCPR+AED for the personnel(s) at the Contractor’s cost within the first 3months of the Contract Period, if the Personnel does not have a validcertification upon commencement of contract or within 3 months before thePersonnel’s certification lapses or expires during the Contract Period.

Experience:

1. Must have a minimum of 2years’ experience in front desk reception duties.

2. Relevant front deskreception experience in schools is preferred.

3. Relevant front deskreception experience in primary schools is highly advantageous.

Skills & Qualities:

1. Should read, write andconverse in English.

2. Should have goodcommunication and interpersonal skills.

3. Shoud have warm personalityshowing empathy/care/maturity.

4. Should possess good customerservice skills and telephone etiquette skills.

5. Should bemeticulous, exercise initiative, and work independently and as part of a team.
