Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow new business opportunities across Singapore by identifying potential clients and understanding their hiring needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, hiring managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and business development activities to promote the company’s recruitment and talent solutions.
  • Attend networking events, industry conferences, career fairs, and business forums to expand professional networks and generate new opportunities.
  • Understand clients’ workforce requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions based on their business needs.
  • Manage client accounts and develop strategies to increase business opportunities, repeat assignments, and long-term partnerships.
  • Manage the recruitment process from initial job requirement through candidate sourcing, selection, interview coordination, offer management, and placement.
  • Source and attract suitable candidates through job portals, professional networks, referrals, social media, databases, and direct headhunting.
  • Screen and assess candidates to ensure their skills, experience, qualifications, and career expectations match client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline across relevant industries and job functions.
  • Present shortlisted candidates to clients and manage the interview and selection process.
  • Coordinate offer discussions, salary negotiations, and onboarding arrangements between clients and candidates.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team targets, KPIs, placement objectives, and revenue goals.
  • Apply a consultative approach to understand clients’ recruitment challenges and recommend appropriate talent solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, repeat business, cross-selling, and additional recruitment services.
  • Keep up to date with recruitment trends, salary movements, talent availability, and market developments across Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market conditions to identify new business and recruitment opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client activities, candidate pipelines, vacancies, and recruitment progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in recruitment, executive search, staffing, business development, account management, or sales.
  • Proven experience in client acquisition, business development, account management, and recruitment delivery.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and clients simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving recruitment, sales, business development, or revenue targets.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, candidates, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong networking and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a target-driven team environment.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Comfortable working in a KPI- and target-driven environment.
  • Established professional network within the Singapore employment market will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of workforce trends, salary expectations, talent availability, and market dynamics.
  • Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills.
  • Demonstrated record of successful placements, client development, and relationship building.
  • Regional or international recruitment experience will be an added advantage.
