Title: Regional Channel Development Manager (Medical Devices MNC)

Location: Singapore

About the Role:

Our client is a reputable and well known Medical Devices MNC.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a driven and experienced Channel Development Manager to strengthen their channel partner capabilities, commercial excellence, and sustainable business growth across assigned regions.

Responsibilities:

Distributor Onboarding & Market Readiness

  • Lead and oversee the onboarding of new distributors across APAC markets, ensuring they are fully equipped with the required commercial, operational, product, and technical capabilities to successfully represent and grow the business.
  • Establish clear onboarding frameworks, readiness milestones, and governance mechanisms to accelerate time-to-productivity.

Channel Enablement, Training & Capability Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive channel enablement programs to strengthen distributor capabilities across sales, product knowledge, solution positioning, demand generation, and customer engagement.
  • Identify capability gaps and implement targeted training, coaching, and development initiatives to drive channel effectiveness and sustained performance.

Indirect Business Performance Management & Forecasting

  • Own the performance management of the indirect business across assigned APAC markets, working closely with distributors and internal stakeholders to track revenue, bookings, sell-through, pipeline, profitability, and other key business metrics.
  • Drive accurate forecasting, identify performance gaps and risks, and develop actionable plans to deliver against business objectives.

Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs)

  • Establish and lead structured Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with distributors and internal leadership teams.
  • Provide clear visibility into business performance, pipeline development, market trends, opportunities, challenges, and strategic priorities.
  • Translate business insights into measurable action plans and ensure timely follow-through on agreed initiatives.

Pipeline Health, Productivity & Growth Acceleration

  • Drive disciplined pipeline management across the distributor ecosystem, ensuring healthy pipeline coverage, quality, velocity, and conversion.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales productivity and partner effectiveness, remove execution barriers, and accelerate revenue growth through focused pipeline generation, opportunity management, and joint go-to-market initiatives.

Distributor Quality Assurance, Governance & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain distributor governance standards to ensure consistent operational quality, adherence to company policies, and compliance with contractual, commercial

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing , Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Ideally 8 – 10 years of Channel Sales, Business Development, and/or Distributor Management experiences within the Medical Devices / MedTech sector.
  • Prior exposure to Urology, Gastroenterology or Endoscopy systems would be highly advantageous
  • Proven track record in building strong distributor network and solid understanding of MedTech Distribution landscape in Southeast Asia.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed and multinational environment with high regulatory complexity.
