Job Summary

Lead account management and sales initiatives to grow business share and client relationships across APAC and the Middle East. Use consultative selling and data analytics to develop tailored supply chain solutions, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to safeguard sales revenue and gross profit while ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Increase service and pricing consistency by promoting integrated logistics solutions
  • Expand business share and deepen client relationships by identifying and engaging key influencers, gatekeepers, and decision makers across APAC and Middle East regions
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to identify supply chain challenges and design value-creating solutions that increase client engagement and share of wallet for GEODIS
  • Proactively manage and resolve account issues using continuous improvement principles to enhance service levels
  • Improve client satisfaction by analyzing formal feedback and customer surveys and implementing necessary actions
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders, IT, and management teams to develop value-adding service offerings for clients
  • Gather, consolidate, analyze, and report management information including volume, revenue, gross profit, and yield metrics
  • Utilize CRM systems to document all RFQs and meetings accurately
  • Collect and relay competitor intelligence through ongoing contact with strategic customers to inform company strategy

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in a related discipline
  • Proficient negotiation and presentation skills applied in sales contexts
  • Expertise in sales techniques including consultative selling, customer psychology, and purchasing patterns
  • Ability to leverage data analytics to optimize sales processes
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience, including at least 3 years in a senior sales role

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Willingness and ability to undertake regular international business travel
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours associated with business travel
  • Role is based in Singapore
