Work Location: Singapore (Permanent Base)

Region of Responsibility: Philippines

Travel Requirement: Approximately 2–3 weeks per month in the Philippines

Reporting To: Regional Operations Manager​

Job Overview

The Regional Operations Executive will be based in Singapore and responsible for day-to-day operations management, store support, project implementation and business partner coordination across the Philippines.​

The role requires regular presence in the Philippines to conduct store visits, analyse operational performance, implement company standards and coordinate cross-functional initiatives, with the objective of improving store performance and strengthening brand operations within the market.​

Candidates must be comfortable with frequent overseas travel. The successful candidate is expected to spend approximately two to three weeks per month in the Philippines, with the remaining time working from the Singapore office.​

Key Responsibilities

1. Regional Operations Management

1. Monitor the day-to-day operations of stores in the Philippines and ensure compliance with the Company’s operational standards, service procedures, product specifications and brand requirements.​

2. Conduct regular store visits in the Philippines to review service quality, product quality, food safety, hygiene standards, equipment management, inventory control and staffing arrangements.​

3. Identify operational issues, develop corrective action plans and follow up on their implementation and completion.​

4. Assist in establishing and improving operational procedures, inspection standards, reporting systems and store management mechanisms for the Philippines market.​

5. Provide timely updates to the Regional Operations Manager regarding business performance, major operational issues and potential risks in the Philippines.​

2. Business Performance and Data Analysis

1. Collect and analyse store data, including sales revenue, customer traffic, average transaction value, product sales, gross profit, operating costs, wastage and customer feedback.​

2. Prepare weekly, monthly and ad hoc operational performance reports.​

3. Identify operational issues and improvement opportunities through data analysis and provide practical recommendations to management.​

4. Monitor the achievement of business targets and key performance indicators across all stores in the Philippines.​

3. Store and Business Partner Management

1. Serve as the primary operational liaison between the Company and its local business partners, franchisees and store teams in the Philippines.​

2. Coordinate and resolve matters relating to store operations, product supply, marketing activities, employee training and customer complaints.​

3. Conduct regular operational meetings with business partners and store managers, establishing clear action plans, responsible parties and completion deadlines.​

4. Monitor the implementation of the Company’s brand standards, operational policies and management requirements by business partners and store teams.​

5. Maintain positive working relationships with business partners while ensuring that the Company’s commercial interests and brand requirements are properly protected and implemented.​

4. New Store Setup and Project Implementation

1. Assist with site assessments, pre-opening preparations, renovations, equipment procurement, staff training, soft openings and official openings of new stores in the Philippines.​

2. Develop and maintain project timelines and coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, business partners and other relevant stakeholders.​

3. Monitor the progress of local licences, regulatory approvals and documents required for store openings in the Philippines.​

4. Support the implementation of new products, systems and operational standards introduced by the headquarters.​

5. Monitor project budgets, expenses and supporting documents to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule.​

5. Market and Marketing Support

1. Gather information on the Philippine food and beverage market, competing brands, consumer trends and customer preferences.​

2. Work with the Marketing Department to develop product promotions, festive campaigns and store marketing activities suitable for the Philippines market.​

3. Monitor the implementation of marketing activities at store level and analyse campaign performance.​

4. Provide localisation recommendations concerning product mix, pricing, service standards and promotional strategies based on market feedback.​

6. Supply Chain and Cross-Functional Coordination

1. Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and other departments to support the smooth operation of the Philippines business.​

2. Monitor the availability and supply of ingredients, equipment, packaging materials and other operational items.​

3. Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies, logistics delays, product quality issues and supplier service concerns.​

4. Maintain operational documents, contracts, licences, training records and project files relating to the Philippines market.​

Requirements

1. Diploma or higher qualification, preferably in Business Administration, Food and Beverage Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related discipline.​

2. At least two years of relevant experience in food and beverage, retail, chain-store operations or regional operations.​

3. Experience in store operations, project coordination, business performance analysis or business partner management.​

4. Ability to independently conduct store inspections, analyse operational issues, monitor corrective actions and prepare operational reports.​

5. Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with local teams and business partners in the Philippines.​

6. Proficiency in Filipino is an advantage. Chinese-language skills are also an advantage, as the role may require communication with the China headquarters and Chinese-speaking business teams.​

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.​

8. Proactive, responsible and results-oriented, with strong execution, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.​

9. Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment and accommodate frequent overseas travel.​

10. Must be willing and able to travel to the Philippines for approximately two to three weeks per month.​

11. Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore and able to meet the applicable requirements for business travel to the Philippines.​

12. Experience in the Philippine food and beverage market, franchise operations, new store openings or supply chain coordination will be an advantage.
