Regional Sales & Business Development Manager

Singapore, Malaysia & Export Markets

Experience: 5–8 years relevant FMCG sales / business development experience

We are looking for a high-performance, commercially driven sales leader who can deliver measurable sales growth across Singapore, Malaysia and export markets.

This is a lean, founder-led environment with high-performance standards. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with tight budgets, limited resources and minimal handholding, while finding creative and commercially effective ways to generate sales and build distribution.

Proven Sales Growth Ability Is a Must

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a track record of growing sales, developing new accounts and converting opportunities into revenue.

You should be someone who:

* Is comfortable with high expectations and demanding performance standards

* Can deliver results without relying on large marketing or sales budgets

* Is resourceful and knows how to generate sales with limited resources

* Takes ownership of targets and follows through without constant supervision

* Is highly hands-on, commercially minded and results-oriented

* Can work effectively in a fast-moving, lean startup environment

* Is comfortable being challenged, receiving direct feedback and being held accountable for results

Experience & Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of relevant FMCG sales or business development experience

* Demonstrated experience managing key accounts, retail channels, e-commerce and/or distributor relationships

* Strong experience in Singapore and Malaysia sales markets

* Export sales and international distributor management experience preferred

* Proven ability to develop new business, grow revenue, manage sales targets and analyse sales performance

* Strong commercial understanding of pricing, margins, promotions, distribution and customer acquisition

* Able to prepare and present regular, accurate sales reports and actionable sales plans

* Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills

* Must be hands-on, commercially driven, organised and capable of working independently

* Comfortable operating in a lean, resource-constrained environment where sales results matter more than having a large budget or large team

This role is suited to someone who thrives under high standards and takes personal ownership of sales results.

You will be expected to find opportunities, create solutions, open doors and drive revenue — not simply manage existing accounts or wait for leads and marketing support.

If you require substantial budgets, extensive resources or close supervision to deliver sales, this role will not be suitable.
