RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
- Investigating the AI components in software ecosystems.
- Understanding supply chain of these AI components.
- Identifying trustworthy issues in production-level AI-based software.
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on software development.
- Experience in AI Safety research.
- Proficiency in programming software/languages.
- Familiarity in industrial software deployment practices (IaC, cloud systems).
- Proven track record (publications) in top AI/SE conference.
- Experience with agent design, such as coding agents and GUI agents, is preferred.
- Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
