The posting
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our translational immuno-oncologyteam developing bispecific therapeutic strategies for lung cancer. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, mechanistic evaluation, preclinical validation, and translational development of novel bispecificantibodies and immune-cell engagers.
We offer:
- Opportunity to work on an impactful translational cancer immunotherapy programme focused on next-generation bispecific therapeutics for lung cancer.
- Access to advanced platforms for flow cytometry, live-cell imaging, in vivo imaging, proteomics, and translational immune profiling.
- A multidisciplinary academic-clinical research environment with opportunities for scientific publication, collaboration, and clinical translation.
This is a full-time position. Candidates with strong hands-on experience in cancer immunology, functional T-cell assays, bispecific/antibody therapeutics, or relevant in vivo tumor models are strongly encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, optimize, and executein vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate bispecific therapeutics for lungcancer.
- Maintain and characterize lungcancer cell lines, primary tumor models and/or organoids, together with humanimmune cells such as PBMCs and T cells.
- Perform functional assaysincluding tumor-cell killing, T-cell activation, proliferation, cytokinerelease, immune phenotyping, and 2D/3D co-culture studies.
- Conduct multi-parameter flowcytometry, live-cell imaging, and mechanism-of-action studies; analyze andinterpret experimental data.
- Support relevant mouse lungcancer models, including tumor implantation, treatment, sample collection, andbioluminescence imaging where required.
- Prepare figures, reports, presentations, manuscripts, and grant-related materials; contribute to projectplanning and translational strategy.
- Coordinate with internal andexternal collaborators, guide junior research staff or students whereappropriate, and support laboratory biosafety and research operations.
Key Requirements:
- PhD in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Previous research experience in cancer immunology, antibody therapeutics, T-cell biology, or lung cancer is preferred.
- Strong background or interest in tumor immunology, immune evasion, T-cell activation, and antibody- or engager-based cancer therapeutics.
- Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, human immune cells, and functional cell-based assays.
- Experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry and quantitative data analysis.
- Experience with tumor cytotoxicity, T-cell activation, cytokine-release, or related immune functional assays.
- Experience with mouse tumor models, in vivo imaging, recombinant proteins, antibody characterization, or bispecific/T-cell engager platforms is advantageous.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-oriented, with strong scientific writing, communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
